How the composite score is built.

Every company gets a single 0–100 composite score across the weighted factors below. The weighting itself is self-learning: calibrated by backtesting against real outcomes, and recalibrated automatically as new outcomes resolve, rather than staying fixed.

Composite weights

The current weighting. It is recalibrated by the self-learning backtest described at right, and shifts as outcomes resolve.

Backtesting & self-learning weights

The composite weights are calibrated by backtesting the model across every company Secondary Flow has tracked over the trailing three years. The algorithm is proprietary and self-learning.

As their outcomes become known, the contribution of each composite weight is re-evaluated against what actually happened. If realized acquisitions and exits show a weight's percentage should change, the model updates it accordingly. The weighting recalibrates continuously rather than staying fixed.
